    Not just my favorite coffee shop in Jersey City - But the best coffee shop I've literally ever been to. The atmosphere is so cozy and comforting. The drinks? Out of this world and reasonably priced. The music they play is A+ - I hear a lot of The Smiths and it makes me happy This coffee shop is my second home. I go there almost every day.     How adorable! This little café is tucked away that you wouldn't notice it at first glance. As usual, I was skimming through Yelp for a local coffee spot after a rehearsal that took longer than expected. The name of this place popped up, and with the reviews and unique items on the menu, I was intrigued to check it out for myself. I arrived closer to the late afternoon on a Sunday, so it was pretty quiet when I walked in, save for a couple of people sitting at the tables. The single employee I could spot was pleasant and attentive from the moment I walked in. I ended up ordering a toasted, plain bagel with sharp cheddar and guava and a hibiscus and lavender iced tea. While waiting for my order, I had time to really take in the vibe of the place - super relaxed and mellow with plenty of room to either study, meet up with friends, bring a casual date, or just have a relaxed Sunday afternoon. There's even an entire corner (right next to the huge window) with games to play. Loved that concept. When I received my order, I was pleasantly surprised with how rich the flavor was in my tea - I was not expecting that at all. The bagel was amazing - toasted just enough to crisp it with plenty of cheddar and guava evenly mixed to give you that salty sweet combo that cravings are made of. Just thinking about it now has me trying to plan my next visit there already. While I didn't spend as much time in the café as I would have liked due to my schedule, I intend to do so the next time! My only (minor) complaint was the difficulty of finding a lightswitch in the bathroom. Aside from that, I can't wait to check it out again, and you should too!

    Very historic cafe with antiques all around that were nice to see. Our favorite was the miniature piano coffee table upstairs. So unique and cute! They have a nice menu and a kind staff person who was very good at multitasking & making the items well all in good spirits. Hard to find great staff like her! Kudos. Go, enjoy!!

    Excellent service and great Lavender coffee made with love. (As shown with a coffee foam heart!) Keish was tasty as well! The lady that worked there the morning of 9/14 had such a positive attitude, was attentive, and very polite! Great things, decor, to look at especially an old NJ police uniform
